TrigorinJason Garza is proud to be a part of LDT’s first season. Jason was recently seen as Orsino in Water Works production of Twelfth Night in Royal Oak. He also performed for seven years with the Kearsley Park Players in Flint, MI. His favorite roles include Dromio of Syracuse in Comedy of Errors, Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Charles Condomine in Blythe Spirit. Garza studied theater at Adrian College and the University of Michigan—Flint. Garza currently lives in Troy with his beautiful
ArkadinaJM Ethridge has appeared at Planet Ant (In the Wilde Award-nominated One Cat Away From 61), Shakespeare Royal Oak, St. Dunstan's, The Snug, Stagecrafters, and now Little Door, where she will appear this season in Twelfth Night, The Seagull Importance of Being Earnest, and Romeo and Juliet. JM received her degree in Theatre Education at Michigan State University and uses it daily in her role as a high school teacher. Her loves include her husband, two children, chocolate, & napping.
DirectorShannon Hurst is a recent Graduate from the Wayne State BFA Acting program. She has an interest in both direction and acting, and has been a part of the Detroit theatre community for several years. Some past acting credits include: Helena in A Midsummer Nights Dream, Heather Duke in Heathers the Musical, Wendy in Peter Pan, Mimi in RENT, Breanna in Essential Magick, and Audra Long in Forbidden Love. Directing credits include Genius, or Crazy? and Cushie as a part of Boxfest Detroit.
Stage ManagerTim Falk is excited be a part of Little Door's opening. Already an alum of Ball So Hard University, Tim just graduated from OU with his degree in Theatre over the Summer. Tim would like to thank the cast and crew for making this such an awesome experience. He would also like to thank his family, both blood and otherwise, for all the support, but especially to Mom and Dad for always believing in and loving him, and of course, God.
